Currently Director of Partnerships at Archblock (formerly Trust Token), a stablecoin issuer & tokenisation technology provider in Switzerland, Christian has been in the crypto space since 2017, before moving into stablecoin startups in 2020.

Prior to Archblock, Christian was Head of Partnerships at poundtoken.io, an Isle of Man regulated GBP stablecoin startup, where he developed the idea of uniting smaller stablecoin issuers, to create a mouthpiece that was representative of the breadth of the industry. Before moving into crypto, Christian spent over a decade running travel and hospitality businesses, culminating in founding a socially responsible youth travel company in 2012.

He also holds an international MBA from Hult International Business School and undergraduate degree in Modern Languages and Business from the University of Salford.

Currently President and Head of Business Development and Sales at GMO-Z.com Trust Company, Inc, a NYDFS licensed stablecoin operator issuing JPY and USD backed stablecoins (both NYDFS Greenlisted), Ramy has over 20 years’ experience in Banking, Brokerage and Fintech which include institutions like Citi, IG, and Integral Development specialising in FX and FX Prime Brokerage. He has been part of the GMO Internet Group since 2019.

Prior to joining GMO Trust, he worked at GMO-Z.com UK establishing and growing an institutional FX business. He earned an LLB in Law from the University of Liverpool and has a post-graduate diploma in Law (LPC) from the College of Law.

Ramy is on the executive committee of the ACI UK and a member of the ACI Global Digital Assets Committee where he has contributed to ACI responses to BIS, IOSCO and FSB requests for consultation on stablecoins and other digital assets.

Currently part of partnerships at Offchain Labs, the leading company behind layer-2 Arbitrum, Ryan is focussed on growing the ecosystem across APAC. He is passionate about stablecoins and working with financial institutions and fintechs to leverage the benefits of Ethereum scaling solutions to deliver value to their end consumers.

Starting his journey in Web3 in Southeast Asia by growing the SGD and IDR-backed stablecoins and payments infrastructure for the digital assets space, he led the stablecoins OTC desk where he facilitated swaps between natively issued SEA currencies stablecoins and USD-stablecoins for institutions.

Prior to his experience in Web3, he was at Scrum Venture, based in San Francisco focusing on investing in early-stage tech companies. He has worked in investment across a range of industries and has a soft spot for early-stage companies in the FinTech and DeFi space.

Currently working as a freelance Operations Executive in the Finance Industry, Marlené, or “Marms” as we like to call her, helps to ensure that everything runs smoothly, allowing the executive team to focus on what they do best.

Starting her web3 journey back in 2020, Marms helped run a digital asset brokerage in Singapore, leading a team of 60 located across Europe, Asia, Middle East, and North America, before transitioning to a US Venture Capital fund where she worked with some of the largest names in cryptocurrency and corporate finance, and assisted multiple web3 start-ups with preparation for capital raise and scaling.

She also has a background in the corporate sector, with over two decades of experience in Finance, Operations and Digital Marketing, on both agency and client sides, in multiple jurisdictions across, Europe, Africa, the Middle East an Asia.
